Who I am —
Hello, I’m Sarah, an art director and graphic designer living in New York City. Over the past 10 years, my work has focused on fashion, lifestyle and retail brands, including Ralph Lauren, J.McLaughlin, Society Social and Loren Hope. After nearly 6 years at Ralph Lauren, in 2018 I became the first in-house Art Director at J.McLaughlin, where I’m tasked with building a ground-up creative process in addition to enhancing the brand creative through all vehicles: the monthly national catalog, web design, video, social media, retail and advertising design.
I’m a highly-organized, seasoned team leader and creative mentor. While the majority of my experience is in digital and interaction design, over the past few years, leadership roles have allowed me to expand into involved on-set art direction and creative direction of 360° campaigns with both print and digital amplifications. I’m also well-versed in brand analysis, brand strategy and identity design.
My work is recognized for its elevated taste level, attention to detail, stand-out typographic and graphic elements, and (when appropriate, of course) a sense of humor. I’m a clear, proactive communicator, and am known for having strong, positive working relationships with every working team member, while always keeping an eye trained on the business objectives.
I also have a blog.
